The rarity of hepatoblastoma (HB) and childhood hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) necessitates international collaboration between countries, to give the possibility of conducting successful clinical trials in such rare tumours.

We invite you as colleagues, to participate with us in our program of research and contribute patients to our clinical trials.

CONDITIONS OF COLLABORATION

To become a participating member we require:

• Full contact details (Form of Participation to be filled in for each trial)
• Details of how many patients you may expect to enter each year
• Agreement to register all relevant patients to our trials
• Agreement to submit timely clinical data and to respond to individually requested data queries.

SIOPEL Group will:

• Register all submitted patients
• Request all outstanding data in a timely fashion
• Evaluate the performance of new centres after one year
• Circulate trial news and updates via a monthly SIOPEL e-Bulletin
• Hold an annual open SIOPEL meeting to which all participants are invited (usually scheduled during SIOP).
• Invite participating colleagues to other SIOPEL meetings
• Make available minutes of meetings, slide presentations and trial updates as appropriate.
• Supply to SIOPEL members a user identification and password so participants may enter the members area of our website.
